Restoring Stability. Rebuilding Lives. Creating Pathways to Hope.
Camille’s Safe Haven was founded out of lived experience.
Our founder spent over 16 years in healthcare, witnessing firsthand how individuals —
particularly seniors, chronically ill patients, and those exiting hospitals, incarceration, or
homelessness — were discharged with nowhere safe to go. Many were medically stable but
socially vulnerable, falling through gaps in housing, support, and services.
The organization is named in honor of Camille, a resilient mother who helped raise her family
while battling chronic illness and poverty. Despite her strength, she faced ongoing struggles with
housing, healthcare access, and financial instability — experiences that deeply shaped our
mission.
Camille’s Safe Haven was created so others would not have to endure those same struggles
alone.
We provide housing and support for adults who need stability, including:
- Veterans
- Reentry citizens transitioning from incarceration
- Individuals experiencing homelessness
- Aged-out foster youth
- Individuals with mental health challenges (non-acute, non-skilled)
We serve adults who are able to reside in a supportive, non-medical housing environment.
Camille’s Safe Haven provides supportive housing and stabilization services, including:
- Safe, affordable housing placements
- Assistance with housing stabilization and transitions
- Coordination with social workers, case managers, and referral partners
- Support navigating benefits and community resources
- Structured, supportive living environments
- Referrals to appropriate care, employment, and recovery services
We do not provide skilled nursing or medical treatment. Our focus is stability, safety, and dignity.
Housing instability impacts every area of life health, employment, mental wellness, and community reintegration. Without stable housing, individuals face repeated crises, hospitalizations, and recidivism. Camille’s Safe Haven addresses this critical gap by providing a safe place to land, where individuals can stabilize and take the next steps forward.

conditions, or denied stability due to circumstance, illness, or lack of resources.
